The Role
Tucked away in a peaceful oasis in the Hills District, with its tranquil surroundings and landscaped gardens, Lutanda Manor offers a warm and friendly community, with quality amenities and a supportive environment.
We currently have a genuinely rewarding opportunity for a customer-focused and reliable Village Support Officer to join the team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be providing customer service, comfort, and support to our residents when they need is most. Additional assistance maybe required for leave coverage.
Shifts will primarily include afternoon shifts that will continue onto an overnight (sleepover) shift.
Reporting the Village Manager, your duties will include:
Assisting with our colourful village events
Assisting to serve meals & beverages
Responding to resident enquiries
Responding to call outs
Undertaking first aid
Initiating emergency services where required
Basic admin tasks
Conducting welfare checks on residents
About You
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, dependable and have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. A professional and positive approach is required at all times to ensure that all residents’ needs are met. A background in either hospitality or aged care would be advantageous although not essential, as well as having the following:
A current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
The ability to make decisions and remain calm under pressure
Be motivated and able to take initiative
Basic computer skills
