Form of workWe are looking for a team of Casual Visitor Services Officers - Front of House to assist us in delivering our iconic Brisbane Comedy Festival. As Australia’s fastest-growing comedy festival, it has grown into a multi-venue extravaganza, bursting at the seams to host a hand-picked selection of the funniest folk in the country. Brisbane Comedy Festival hosts one-liners, whimsy and tall tales from some of the most hilarious local, national and international comedians.
As part of the Visitor Services team, you will be the face of the festival, welcoming hundreds of patrons through the doors of Brisbane Powerhouse, delivering all the need-to-know information, promoting upcoming shows, coordinating with festival staff and providing crucial assistance to the team behind the scenes. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to festival attendees, including visitors, artists, and staff, helping us make our biggest festival a huge success!
The successful candidate will have experience in customer service, Front of House or hospitality, excellent communication skills, strong organisational and time management skills, a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will understand safety protocols and emergency procedures and be available to work evenings and weekends during the festival season.
