Role Description/Criteria
At Our Lady of Good Counsel School, we strive to ensure that students reach their full potential. We aim to empower them to take responsibility for their own learning whilst providing them with strategies and skills to prepare them for an ever-changing world.
The successful applicant will join our student-centered school, in an fixed term capacity, will the possibility of becoming ongoing. Applicants need to have a strong sense of collaboration, be an innovative risk takers with a good working knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Curriculum (Visual Arts) and a sound understanding and awareness on team teaching and 'best practice'. This is a Maternity Leave replacement for 6 months.

The suitably qualified teacher requires:
• a willingness to promote the Catholic Ethos
• a sound understanding of targeted teaching and learning practices
• the ability to embrace pedagogy that supports differentiated and personalised learning
• willing to run an extra curricula club
• strong interpersonal skills
• a willingness to be a team player and work collaboratively within our school community
• the ability to receive and act upon feedback.
The successful applicants will hold a valid Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
