Purpose;
Angle Auto Finance is an independent financier in Australia, bringing a modern platform and a flexible business approach to help more Australians with their car purchase.
The WA/SA State Manager, reporting to the Head of Dealer Sales is responsible for driving growth, acquisitions, reactivating accounts and retail finance penetration directly with our dealers (through strong relationships with each DP, either in field or via inside sales team). Own and develop a sales territory roadmap and strategy to ensure effective in field execution which is aligned to Angle Auto’s Sales Excellence Framework. Lead the SA & WA Dealer Manager group to drive growth and acquisitions in their territories.
Key Acountabilities & Responsibilities;
Core responsibilities
- Engagement with Dealer Principals and Business Managers
- Implement AAF Sales Excellence Framework
- Drive Retail share of wallet; and ensure we retain existing dealers
- Reactivate dormant retail dealers
- Acquire new accounts
- Effective dealer and staff training programs
- Identify Wholesale opportunities
- Develop state sales strategy
- Achieve KPI’s inclusive but not restricted to NAF, units, NIM, retail/wholesale penetration, call rates, product share, new business %.
- Lead & host an incentive framework to drive performance
- Manage wholesale in conjunction with NSW Wholesale DM to manage facilities, aged units and audit performance.

As a leader you will be responsible for providing connection and consistency in how you engage your team, and in driving high performance of individuals and the team through:
- Building strong trusted relationships with your team and leaders (as appropriate)
- Ensure your team have an understanding and connection to our strategy and the role they play
- Continuous development and growth of your people through feedback, providing challenging work opportunities and coaching.
Qualifications & Experience;
Qualifications;
- Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce or Finance (desired, but not essential)
Experiences;
- 10 years+ Senior Financial Services Roles
- 5 years + in a leadership role
- A strong track record of success in an Senior distribution role
- Experience in a start-up environment or within Financial Services (Auto Finance) desirable
- Experience successfully building, scaling and leading high performing sales teams
- A strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong motivation, energy, and problem-solving skills
- Dynamic self-starter and results driven
- Ability and willingness to adapt to different conditions
- Exceptional Written Communication & phone manner
- Computer literacy, familiarisation with the Microsoft Office programs, as well as able to pick up new systems quickly
