Therefore, we are excited to invite applications for a full time Wagon Administrator to provide co-ordination and supervisory services for our wagon fleet maintenance and associated activities.
This role will provide the successful applicant with a great opportunity to be a crucial part of a dedicated and dynamic team.
Duties involved, but not limited to:
- Follow an established maintenance strategy that identifies, prioritises and plans wagon maintenance.
- Source components and parts and ensure they are of suitable quality and price.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained over a number of locations.
- Plan and coordinate cost effective road freight movements to maintenance facilities and workshops.
- Plan maintenance work for completion by developing job packages/work orders/scope of works for wagon maintainers.
- Allocation and actioning of maintenance work by liaising with Service Managers to arrange access to wagons, coordination of the wagon maintenance teams, and arranging all external services required in order to successfully complete the job.
- Review wagon maintenance quality documentation for completion and compliance, and provide guidance to the workshops in the correct use and completion of these documents.
- Identify and suggest improvements for processes and quality documentation as required.
- Provide regular reporting to management and effectively utilise critical escalation points.

- Clear, confident and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Self motivated with excellent time management skills
- Professional and reliable work ethic
- Current National Police Check or willingness to provide one
