Warehouse Administrator – Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Thomas Foods - Laverton North is growing, with a number of exciting things on the horizon and currently have a maternity leave assignment for a Full-time Warehouse Administrator to join our team based at Laverton North.
The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time Warehouse Administrator, to join our friendly Team. We promote a positive working culture within the business and value honesty, reliability & integrity.
Reporting to the Wholesale Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Management of Debtor & Creditor Accounts:
- Provide support for Accounts Receivable function including debtor calls and monitoring
- Provide support for payables processing
- Sales Invoicing/credits
- Payment allocations
Stock Management:
- Oversee the efficient and accurate running of Coldstore stock on hand
- Weekly reporting as required
- Stocktakes of chilled and frozen goods
- Dated stock reports
Logistics:
- Oversee freight bookings and charges
- Manifests and chep transfers
- Allocation of freight invoices/allowances
Sales Assistance:
- General administrative to the sales/management teams
- Customer engagement, taking and placing orders, overseeing of account issues
General Administration:
- Office supplies
- Assist manager where required
- Banking
Candidates will ideally possess the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience in the meat or food industry will be highly regarded
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and driven to achieve success
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Scanning experience preferred but not essential
