ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Join Our Client, a leading provider of integrated transportation and information management solutions, as a Service Desk Controller. Cubic is at the forefront of shaping smart and connected cities, ensuring seamless transportation experiences for millions of people worldwide.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Service Desk Controller, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch support to Cubic's diverse customer base. Your responsibilities include:
Responding to incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
Monitoring the smart card network for security alarms, faults, and maintenance requirements.
Logging all incidents and requests in ServiceNow, assigning them to the appropriate area for resolution.
Dispatching field technicians to respond to requests
Escalating high-priority issues to the Team Leader
Working closely with the field team to ensure efficient coordination and dispatch of services.
Participating in disaster recovery/business continuity planning and testing.
Handling ad hoc requests and assisting in the documentation of internal procedures for day-to-day operations.
Reporting all WHSE incidents, potential hazards, near misses, and accidents.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Proven experience in a service desk or customer support role.
Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot faults effectively..
Experience in dispatching field technicians and managing schedules.
Knowledge of smart card networks, security alarms, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by reporting incidents and hazards.
