Warehouse Assistant And Delivery Driver

Land of Plenty Food Group is an award-winning food company specializing in producing & distributing premium food for both the Retail and Food Service sectors, nationally.

We have an opportunity, based in Melbourne (Dandenong) for a Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driverto join our team. 

The role will involve a variety of tasks including picking and packing orders and Delivery to our customers.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Managing In-bound and out-bound freight
• Order pick & pack
• Assist with logistics route planning
• FIFO process for frozen, chilled + ambient stock
• Maintain relevant storage record
• Quality control of in and outgoing goods
• Minimise stock loss and stock variances
• Follow daily delivery route (vehicle provided) 
• Review processes and make recommendations for improvements
• Food Safety, cleanliness + OH&S best practice

The successful candidate will:

• Have general warehouse experience  
• Be an accurate picker & packer 
• Happy to work in and out of freezer and cool rooms.
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills with customers
• Team player and has a can-do attitude
• Valid VIC drivers licence (with no pending restrictions)
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
