Warehouse Assistant / Pick Packer

We seek a full-time Warehouse Assistant to assist our expanding team located at our National Distribution Centre situated in Eastern Creek.

About the role:

Working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment you will be responsible for warehouse duties in our Eastern Creek Distribution Centre, which receipts upwards of 150 containers per year and distributes goods to the company’s network of stores and online customers.

Your shift will be 2 pm - 10 pm

Your main responsibilities will include:

•    Manage the receipt and inspection of all inbound freight deliveries to the warehouse including the identification of quarantined or incorrectly supplied goods and the prompt resolution of delivery related problems;
•    Safe loading and unloading of supplier vehicles and containers in a timely manner;
•     Ensure the accurate and timely picking, packing and dispatch of orders and transfers to customers and other branches;
•    Liaise closely with Customer Service regarding the status of orders, investigating claims for shortages, providing POD advice etc.
•    Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse;
•    Strong commitment to health & safety policies and procedures;

The successful candidates will have:

• LF Forklift licence (Desired)
• RF Scanning Experience
• Good Communication skills
• Good warehouse and basic computer skills
• Excellent reliable work ethic
• Physically fit for the role
• Team player attitude
