We are currently seeking an outstanding person to lead our Victorian warehouse team and help us to deliver our goals for Growth, Efficiency and People.
Located in a new, purpose-built facility, and leading a team of more than 30, the successful candidate will be focused on delivering exceptional service, have a continuous improvement mindset, and be a strong builder of culture and leader of the team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading efforts to provide exceptional service via timely supply of orders to customers.
- Delivering quality through inventory integrity, accurate picking, and high-quality shipments.
- Measuring performance and devising and implementing productivity improvement initiatives.
- Managing the team, including communicating strategies and goals, labour scheduling, conducting Toolbox meetings, recruitment, performance monitoring and management, and training.
- Leading health and safety within the warehouse, ensuring ongoing compliance and supporting a company-wide safe culture.
- Establishing, managing, and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Supporting the development and implementation of technology initiatives to support efficiency and service.
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
- 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience
- Strong leadership capabilities
- High energy and initiative
- A positive/can-do attitude
- The ability to work effectively within a larger cross-functional team.
- The ability to manage time effectively, and get things done.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint – Intermediate Level
- An ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
Knowledge of Mandarin language would be an advantage.
