Qualifications & experience
- Warehouse Management Experience: Sufficient experience working in warehouse management, inventory control, stocktakes, health and safety, with a proven record of strong results and capabilities.
- Management Experience: Sufficient experience managing a business and team of staff with a proven record of successful management practice.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills.
- Experience is required to hold a forklift license (LF), order picking forklift truck license (LO) and also a requirement to hold a current open, manual LR Australian driver's license with no restrictions.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Warehouse Management: You will oversee the day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations. This includes managing incoming inventory, outgoing inventory via customer collections or third party freight and deliveries to our customers homes with the setting up and installation of goods..
- Staff Management: You will be responsible for scheduling work loads, performance management, leading the warehouse team of staff and developing your team to meet business goals and objectives.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring the business complies with all legal and safety regulations. This involves regular audits, staff training on safety practices, and ensuring a safe operating environment for staff and contractors on site.
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is key. You'll handle customer inquiries at the warehouse, handle delivery scenarios remotely where the team require guidance on the job, and ensure your team is trained to provide high-quality service. Building and maintaining customer relationships is a vital part of this role.
