What you will do!
You will be responsible for the management of our entire PM Shift. You will be the focal point for supply chain activities and accountable for the management and control of the Inbound and Outbound functions for our Distribution Centre.
In Addition, you will:
Ensure the quality and reliability of goods supplied is in place within optimal time frames and budgets.
Take an active role in providing the business (including sales and customer service) with information regarding distribution progress/ availability of goods.
Manage workload to satisfy customer orders and other operational requirements, through effective planning whilst giving consideration to other areas of the business.
Employ most cost-effective methods of operation considering headcount and workload planning against overtime hours.
Provide dynamic leadership to the to the Inbound Supervisors to ensure their functions are aligned with the key strategic objectives of the Distribution Centre
Promote a culture of learning and accountability in staff and provide a supportive environment to encourage staff growth and development
