Our client is a national flooring supplier that has renowned product and established itself as a market leader within the industry. This role is critical for the continual growth and development of the company’s expansion plans across Brisbane. They continue to introduce new and innovative flooring products & accessories to gain further market share within Australia.
Role
This role is a full-time position & will report into the State Sales Manager. In this role the responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Ensuring that all orders are picked, packed and dispatch within the time frame expected.
- Receipts of all deliveries into the warehouse are checked for correct quantities and any damages.
- The Warehouse is kept clean and tidy with Isle clear of obstacles.
- Ensuring all waste material is removed from the Sample Area.
- All stock is placed into correct locations within the Warehouse, within 24 hours of receipt.
- Ensure trade counter is kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure all shelves are fully always stocked.
- All Customer orders are Delivered in a timely manner
- All daily delivery routes are compiled and completed in a timely manner.
- Foster good workplace relationships with all customers
- Ensure all invoicing and credit policies are adhered to.
- Ensure all invoicing completed daily.
- Ensure all banking is done on a timely basis and as per company procedure.
- Assist all customers via a proactive approach to satisfy their needs & generate add on sales.
- Ensure all relevant sales representatives are notified of Sample receipts.
- Assist all representatives with customer related enquiries.
- Representatives to be notified of all Customer back orders.
- Ensure all customer orders received via Phone, email or fax are keyed into the system on the day received.
- Appropriate opening and locking up of premises at designated days and times.
- Ensuring premises are maintained in a suitable and clean condition.
- Ensuring appropriate procedures are followed in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Ensuring all Occupational Health and Safety regulations are being followed.
- Ensuring Branch is appropriately stocked to meet the Customer’s requirements.
- Ensuring Stock file accuracy by way of weekly Cyclic counts etc.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with Annual Stock Takes.
- Reviewing obsolete and slow-moving stock.
- Ensuring all point of sale and promotional material is suitable and displayed.
- Keying of all branch transfers / RO’s
- Ensuring all company equipment is maintained and serviced.
Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000 + super per year
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
