The Position
The Warehousing Officer provides assistance in the day-to-day operation of the Stores area and provide support towards inventory activities, planning, receipts, dispatch, storage and the processing of materials/ goods/parts and miscellaneous products for Stores/Warehousing Management.
The Person
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of a stores/warehousing environment, experience with hand tools and moisture handling and component recognition. They will have well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer service skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and experience meeting strict deadlines.
Required
- AGSVA clearance level: Baseline or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of a stores/warehousing environment
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills and high level personal drive and resilience
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and experience meeting strict deadlines
- High level communication and numeracy skills
- Good computer skills to use inventory management system and Microsoft Office
- The ability to do regular lifting and demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques
- Current Drivers Licence (unrestricted)
Desirable
- Experience with hand tools and moisture handling & component recognition
- Forklift License

Eligibility
To be eligible for this position, you must be:
- An Australian Citizen; and
- Eligible for an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance (AGSVA) and the successful candidate MUST be able to obtain clearance prior to commencement.
