We are currently recruiting for a Shift Manager (shift required 3:30PM to Midnight) to join our team based at our Distribution Centre in Dandenong South. Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager,this role will be responsible for overseeing the general operations of a warehouse and its staff.
ABOUT THE JOB:
- Oversee daily operations at the DC. Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, enforcing and following Loreal standards and procedures and by complying with local regulations
- Ensure a high degree of detail, data analytics and focus on continuous improvements opportunities
- Coordinate and determine the labour requirements across all the different activities in the Warehouse
- Drive and manage the budgeted KPI’s across all the departments.
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Shift required 3:30PM to midnight, and also be flexible to cover another shifts when it is required
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you will have had previous experience in a similar role looking after medium/ large team.
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse or distribution centers
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to deliver effective feedback and communication with internal and external stakeholders, both written and verbal
