Achieve has been providing services to people with disability since the 1950s. Today, we are a registered NDIS provider offering integrated clinical, health, social and disability services in accommodation, community participation, supported employment and support coordination services in the Greater Sydney and in Northern Rivers regions in NSW.
About the role
- Provide supervision, and training to a team of employees including leading an efficient administration function, to support the warehousing operation, whilst also ensuring and promoting commercial customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to effectively managing cost levers including operational workforce planning and resourcing ensuring the needs of the business are met.
- Contribute to production planning as required, in consultation with the Supervisor (Factory) and Operations Manager.
- Contribute to performance reviews and management for staff and supported employees.
- Ensure the timely provision of all mandatory reporting and checking of compliance processes to meet the requirements of the Operations Manager, including working closely with the Supervisor (Factory), Leading Hands and SESO to collect required information.
- Contribute to the embedding of a culture of continuous improvement, active support and client safeguarding improving practices to protect clients from harm and neglect and help maximise positive client outcomes.
- Contributes to workforce management at the local level; including the identification and actioning of staff vacancies, undertaking onboarding, mandatory compliance and training activity, supervision, performance and offboarding activities where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to regularly review operational processes and procedures to meet the National Standards for Disability Services and all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Actively promote a safe work environment for staff and supported employees including the maintenance and operation of equipment.
The suitable incumbent would have:
- Experience working in warehousing and/or logistics in a management capacity.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, administration equivalent five (3-5) years’ relevant experience including administration or warehousing operations and at least Certificate IV in Frontline Management
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate teams.
- Excellent administration, time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word processing skills.
- Solution orientated approach to problem solving.
- Current Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Check.
- HACCP and a forklift licence would be highly regarded.
