Job Description About the role: This role is responsible for managing materials inventory, including shortages, production material requests, incoming goods, and general warehouse duties and housekeeping. Tasks and responsibilities: Supply production with material requests to ensure fulfillment of all orders.
Co-ordinate receipting of all incoming goods and coordinate product placement within warehouse locations. Co-ordinate and participate in loading and unloading trucks/delivery vehicles as required. Maintain the
Parts Register, internal documents for 3rd party suppliers, managing due dates and following up with orders that are overdue. Co-ordinate and manage the stock request system, recording all stock movements internally. Ensure that all stock shortages are reported to the relevant stakeholders and documented accordingly.
Cycle count scheduling and co-ordination Lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out their duties in a positive and motivating environment. Desired Skills and Experience Skills and Experience: Proficient numerical and Computer skills Attention to detail Experience in leading others - desired not essential* Excellent organisation and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills ERP or MRP experience - desired not essential* 2 years’ experience in similar role – in the warehousing or logistics
