Warehousing Officer
Join our Warehousing team in Ashmore and support our team with general warehousing duties and learn many aspects of Warehousing and Logistics.
About your new role
We’re looking for a Warehousing Officer to join our team and be responsible for our warehousing and materials management functions including receiving, receipting, issuing, delivering and stocktaking of materials.
What you'll be doing
- Maintain very high accuracy and attention to detail when conducting inward goods receiving and system receipting, goods putaway as well as goods issuing activities
- Establish and maintain respectful, effective working relationships with all customers and stakeholders
- Conduct all duties with a safety-first mindset and adhere to the warehouse written procedures and City policies and procedures.
- Operate forklift with various attachments, conduct deliveries by Medium Rigid truck or commuter van
- Provide out of hours support to our operational maintenance teams and be part of the call-out roster.
About you
You are a motivated individual who can function autonomously and within a structured team environment. Your attention to detail and safety mindset is paramount resulting in efficient and effective warehousing and distribution services, and customer satisfaction. You hold:
- A certificate III Warehouse Operations or proven equivalent knowledge
- Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
- Unrestricted Class C Driver Licence (Mandatory)
- SAP experience desirable
- Driver Licence class MR (desirable)
