As a Web Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company website to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and IT teams to implement strategies that drive traffic, enhance functionality, and promote our brand online.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating websites while providing web technology solutions and services.
- Improve the website's user experience to ensure easy navigation, clear product presentation, and a seamless checkout process.
- Address inquiries related to software and hardware malfunctions.
- Manage and update content on the company website, including product listings, descriptions, and images.
- Gather feedback from users to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
- Perform website backups and updates to ensure software and plugins are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Improve the website's user experience Install and configure appropriate software applications to ensure easy navigation, clear product presentation, and a seamless checkout process.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Continually monitor integration between Prestashop and Retail Express to show in-stock products.
- Implement security measures to protect the website from cyber threats, such as malware and hacking attempts.
Requirements:
- Skills or experience required for the position Minimum 2 years.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of website management and digital marketing principles.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), preferably Prestashop, Shopify, and RetailExpress.
- Experience in Optimizing webpages to improve a website's search engine rankings and earn organic traffic.
