We are looking for a talented Web Developer to join our Marketing team based full time in our offices in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast - QLD.

Brief Role Outline
The Group Web Developer serves as the key role for all aspects of the group's websites, handling a range of responsibilities that include web design and development, ongoing site and content maintenance, and various updates to ensure all sites align with the goals and objectives of each company in the group.
Accompanying responsibilities include SEO compliance, graphic design for print and digital media; front-end / UI design for websites and other online platforms; EDM management, related platform / systems support. (e.g. Zapier, SendGrid, Google Sheets)
Role Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, resourceful and able to work effectively in a team environment. Be responsible for all aspects of the group's website maintenance and support.
- Develop and maintain internet / intranet sites, finance application forms, online enquiry forms using extensive knowledge of WordPress, HTML/CSS, PHP, XML, MySQL, JavaScript and related programming languages.
- Ensure all group websites are secure at page level, site level and network level; and that Secure Certificates (SSL) are maintained.
- Ensure all group websites are backed up daily; and that all platform versions, database versions, PHP versions, site themes, sites plugins and scripts are up to date on a daily basis, this also includes disc space allocation, user access and business continuity.
- Ensure all websites are SEO compliant, based on Google Search Console's minimum standards and guidelines.
- Facilitate web analytics reporting and similar performance reporting to help the team identify risks and opportunities to improve search engine performance and competitive advantage online.
- Develop, implement, and maintain all web-based applications that are used in operations, sales, marketing and related tasks.
- Execute unified front-end design and graphic design tasks in collaboration with the group's Head of Digital, Marketing Manager, Systems Analyst and Operations Directors. This includes the output of
- digital assets used in company stationery,
- online media,
- offline media,
- digital signatures,
- social platform placements and
- web placements.
- Assist in analysing, specifying and developing Internet strategies, web-based methodologies and development plans with the digital team
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
- Maintain a current knowledge of best practices and emerging developments in web design, web development and technology.
- Develop and maintain Email Direct Marketing (EDM) efforts by designing and building email content, and maintaining customer databases (lists and segments).
- design and develop digital animations, imaging, presentations, audio and video clips, and Internet applications using multimedia software, tools and utilities, interactive graphics and programming languages
- Maintain and document the group's internet domains.
- Perform other digital related duties as assigned.
