Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Wedding & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will possess a hands-on approach with a solid knowledge of wedding and events management, as well as sound administration skills.
The Role:
- Use exceptional customer service to deliver outstanding results always.
- Assist in the coordination and set-up of weddings & Events.
- Conduct site inspections for potential clients.
- Coordinate internal events and small special events within our Resort.
- Manage Group bookings including rooming lists and VIP booking requests.
- Organize and prioritize work in order to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Complete day to day administration duties.
- Complete accounts administration duties including issuing deposit invoices and reconciling final event invoices.
Specific Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
- Professional and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
- Highly motivated and reliable with great time management skills.
- Experience working in Wedding and Events.
- Availability to work weekends, this is essential for the role.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
This is a full time role where you will be paid an hourly rate to ensure you are paid for every hour that you work, this will also include generous penalty rates for working on the weekends.
