Weekend Chef

Cater Care is seeking a talented Chef to join our team in Wollongong for ongoing, permanent weekend shifts. The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional to a Chef position at our aged care residence in Albion Park Rail.

Preparing delicious meals for our grateful residents; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day! 

Public transport accessible and onsite parking available.

Roster: Sat and Sun : 09:30 to 18:00

What This Role Involves:

• Preparing and presenting food for our residents
• Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
• Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
• Preparing and presenting texture modified foods

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience in kitchens and food preparation
• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantage)
• Previous experience in aged care or catering (advantage)
