About the Role
The Work Health & Safety Administrator will undertake a range of administrative and coordination tasks relating to the provision of programs and initiatives designed to support all Hollardites. Reporting to the Senior Manager Workplace Relations & Safety, the role assists in the provision of safe work practices and initiatives to support positive wellbeing and a safe work culture at Hollard.
Key Responsibilities will include (however, not limited to the below):
- Providing WHS administrative support for the WHS systems including incident reporting and ensuring security for sensitive documentation and records
- Managing and maintaining WHS-related data, documentation and processes
- Contribute to and actively support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives for WHS systems and culture
- Maintain the calendar, agenda and record minutes for the WHS committee
- Complete quality checks on incident data with respect to accuracy and timeliness
- Run regular reports on the status of action items assigned from incident reviews and leading activities
- Collaborating with Facilities team, participate in WHS inspections & work with First Aid team members on training requirements
About You
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Work Health & Safety principles and processes and systems (advantageous)
- Highly organised and can balance competing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Empathy and understanding in assisting employees through recovery processes
- Attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
