Our client is a leading ASX-listed contractor with haulage, mining and civil projects located in the Pilbara Goldfields of Western Australia. At present, our client is seeking applications from experienced WHS Officers to join their team, FIFO from Perth with multiple opportunities available across varied roster arrangements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting of risk assessments and hazard Identification activities.
- Ensuring all incidents are reported, recorded, escalated and investigated as per client requirements.
- Maintenance of the site training matrix, ensuring its accessibility to site management
- Supporting the injury management process.
- Conducting audits and inspections in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
- Developing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Communicating WHS information clearly and concisely across all business levels.
- Certificate IV or Diploma OHS/WHS.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislative and regulatory requirements on a state and national level.
- ICAM Investigation Trained.
- Working Knowledge of Injury Management and Return to Work requirements.
- Experience acting as the first point of contact for WHS queries and advice.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Use of Safety Management Software (MYOSH or similar).
- Hold a Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
- Be able to pass a medical & drug and alcohol screen.
