Di Prinzio Concreting are seeking a passionate WHS Advisor to join our team to provide advice to our valued managers, supervisors, and workers.

As our WHS Advisor you will provide pragmatic, hands-on Health and Safety support and collaboratively work with our project team at all levels of the business ensuring best practice standards are being met and exceeded.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar role in a construction industry environment, and will be hands on to ensure the highest standards of health and safety management are carried out across all of our clients’ commercial, industrial and residential projects. You will have a qualification in Work Health and Safety with a strong commitment to creating and developing a safer workplace for all. In addition to this you will have excellent communication skills and be an eager self-starter.

This role includes, but isn't limited to:

• Completing site inspections and managing non-conformances
• Managing risk assessment processes
• Development of Safe Work Method Statements and Safe Work Instructions
• Conducting training gap analyses
• Identifying WHS competency requirements and coordinating training
• Accident/incident investigations
• Managing injured workers, workers compensation claims, and RAW plans
• Managing and collating concrete pump compliance documentation
• Travelling to the Mid North Coast region once a month to conduct concrete pump and site inspections
• Review and improvement.

About You

• Certificate IV WHS or WHS Diploma qualifications
• Recover at Work qualifications
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Experience with concrete pumps, including their processes and procedures (advantageous)
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• An ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in the Construction Industry (highly advantageous)
• A positive attitude and willing to assist in other roles where required.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Di Prinzio Concreting team and its clients through continuous improvement of our WHS systems and procedures . 

This role is a permanent full-time position.
