About the role
AAM have a full-time permanent position available for suitably qualified trades people. Duties will include carrying out operational and maintenance activities at our timber processing facility located at Bathurst in Central West New South Wales, Australia.
About you
- Trade qualified Fitter & Turner / Machinist / Boilermaker / Welder preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work day shift, afternoon shift or flexible hours as per operational requirements.
- Must hold a current Driver’s Licence.
- Must be able to strictly follow all safety procedures.
- Experience within an industrial / manufacturing environment, timber experience an advantage.
- High Risk Forklift Licence desirable.
About the site
The site is a mid-tier radiata sawmill company processing approximately 90,000m3 p.a. small saw logs. The business also produces framing and landscaping products. The mill is a modern Hewsaw SL200 sawline with fully optimised automation to gain high recovery and productivity. Other onsite facilities include a timber treatment plant, kiln drying and a drymill.
