You’ll feel a real privilege being a trusted caregiver in our patients, their families, their carers, and our communities’ lives.Where you'll be workingVarious sites across Northern Sydney Local Health DistrictWhat you'll be doingAs Work Health and Safety (WHS) Consultant you are expected to provide positive and proactive support, advice and assistance on matters relating to WHS across Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).Key responsibilities include contributing to the development and implementation of key strategic and operational initiatives to prevent and\or minimise the impact and incidences of harm to staff and others, to achieve compliance with legislative, regulatory, Ministry of Health and other requirements, and to have a people centred approach which actively encourages and facilitates the participation and empowerment of others to successfully manage and resolve WHS matters.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Outline your experience in developing and implementing documentation, such as policies and procedures and the development and delivery of training packages.
- Outline your experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating WHS management systems and programs and how you have developed relationships and influenced change in a large organisation.
- Outline your knowledge and expertise in relation to the gathering, generation and analysis of WHS data / information to convey complex information and your proficiency in the use of Microsoft programs.
