Yass Valley Council is seeking a highly motivated, suitability qualified and experienced safety professional to join our Governance & Risk team. If you’re the holder of a Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) and have 5 years’ experience within this field, don’t miss this opportunity and apply now.

YOUR ROLE
The WHS Officer will work across all sections of the organisation, including contractors and volunteers, to provide work, health, and safety guidance.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
•    A 35-hour working week, over a 9-day fortnight
•    Access to 6.5 weeks long service leave after 5 years
•    4 weeks paid annual leave
•    Access to 3 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative were unused
•    Access to 2 health and wellbeing days
•    Base annual salary between $67,308.04 - $72,692.68 per annum plus 11% Superannuation
