Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a talented Work Health and Safety Administrator to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor to our strategic goals, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for employees in the WHS office, offering excellent customer service.
- Assist injured workers with workers' compensation paperwork and claim lodgement, supporting them in obtaining necessary appointments.
- Manage 1st aid orders and supplies efficiently.
- Coordinate internal audit activities and inspection schedules for enhanced safety compliance.
- Update WHS noticeboards to keep the workforce informed.
- Assist in administrative functions related to Health and wellbeing, Workers' Compensation, and Work Health and Safety.
- Collaborate with the WHS Manager to conduct Risk Assessments, Safe Operating procedures, and maintain registers.
- Ensure accurate minutes are taken at all WHS and Workers Compensation meetings.
Key Criteria
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based management systems.
- Possession of a current unrestricted driver's license.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Effective time management and self-organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic personality with a professional demeanor.
- Good personal presentation, reliability, and trustworthiness.
Work Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety by complying with all Voyages WHS Policies, Procedures, and guidelines.
- Use personal protective clothing and equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Report hazards and participate in accident/incident investigations.
- Engage in the return-to-work process following injury/illness.
- Maintain equipment in good condition and report malfunctions promptly.
- Complete all required WH&S briefings, inductions, and training sessions within set timeframes.
