We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join the Patterson Cheney Toyota in Keysborough.
About the role:
Coordinating daily workshop activities and assigning repair orders to service technicians - using our Dealer Management System
Managing the workshop team to maximise productivity, efficiency and profitability.
Maintaining an on-time delivery rate
Identifying technician strengths and weaknesses to allocate work effectively whilst creating opportunities to develop the team's skills
Working with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle progress and additional work needed to customers.
About you:
Previous dealership experience as a Foreman or Worksop Controller
Qualified automotive technician (Toyota experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency levels
Strong organisation and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor, including apprentices
Be reliable, self-motivated, with a great work ethic
Demonstrate a high degree of teamwork with the ability to work within a dynamic workshop environment
Hold a current Australian driver's licence
