The Company
Our client specializes in manufacturing made to order truck bodies and trailers, truck and trailer servicing, trailer hire, and trailer sales located in southwest Sydney.
Due to rapid growth, they are seeking the services of an experience Workshop Manager to manage safety, time, cost, and quality by providing strong leadership, implementing effective systems and efficient processes.
The Role
Overseeing a team of 30 staff, with 4 direct reports, and reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Ensuring jobs are manufactured and delivered on time in accordance with customer requirements, safety, and quality standards.
- Developing a strong safety and quality culture.
- Effective mentoring of direct reports.
- Managing effective production schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with the quality management system.
- Facilitating daily production meetings
- Ensuring quick responses to production issues and prompt communication to all relevant managers.

- Relevant industry experience.

- Awareness of Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
