Workshop Mechanic - Mt Thorley Rebuilds
Our Mt Thorley Workshop is growing! With the transition back to machine overhauls, our workshop is seeking mechanical tradespeople with machine rebuild experience.
A role with WesTrac will see you completing overhauls on a range of opencut mining equipment from Off-Highway Trucks through to M Series Graders! With a key focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing CAT equipment for some of the biggest mining customer across NSW. This exciting opportunity would be well suited to those wanting to further their career and open the door to new opportunities such as Field Service roles.
Roster & Remuneration
- 2 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks nightshift
- Potential earnings from $146,000+
*Above rates are a guide only; each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and previous experience.
What we're looking for
- Mechanical trade qualifications (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology highly desirable)
- Proven experience in a similar role, machine overhaul experience essential
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements;
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment
- Ability to work autonomously
