CARF hosts a range of characterisation, analysis and ‘omics’ capabilities, underpinned by $30M of cutting edge technologies in microscopy, mass spectrometry, DNA sequencing, etc. These capital investments are effectively leveraged with a dedicated team of about 35 research fellows, specialists, and technologists. CARF is predominantly located within the Science and Engineering Centre with additional nodes at the Gardens Point campus and distributed sites.
