Ventia are currently seeking a Zonal Subcontractor Coordinator to manage, coordinate and administer the subcontractor activities associated with the delivery of services to the client.
The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:
Coordinate the engagement of subcontractors in collaboration with Procurement, Commercial and Operations teams, ensuring:
- Compliance with Ventia policies and procedures for Subcontractor engagement
- Compliance with head contractor requirements for Subcontractor engagement and service delivery.
- Provide support to Operations teams in the development and negotiation of contracts for services, incorporating pricing and SOW elements.
Coordinate the control and subcontract management activities, in collaboration with the Operations teams, ensuring:
- Performance monitoring and management is conducted, administered, and recorded in systems.
- Financial and cost management of subcontract activities is conducted in accordance with head contract requirements.
- Associated administration activities and systems are maintained.
- An audit program is established, implemented, and managed, incorporating responsibility for corrective actions and business improvement initiatives.
- Compliance with Ventia policies and procedures for Subcontractor planning and management.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in an applicable discipline
- Knowledge of construction/facilities management, project and program control principles and practices (i.e. budgeting etc).
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
