Lola Cocina Parramatta is recruiting 2 x Chefs to manage our fast-paced kitchen, oversee food preparation, maintain quality and presentation, and supervise kitchen staff. This is a full-time position based in Parramatta NSW with a salary range of $70K to $75K plus superannuation.You should ideally have a Diploma plus Certificate IV in Cookery, or at least 3 years of proven industry experience. At least 2 years of experience will be highly regarded. You should demonstrate sound culinary knowledge, leadership skills and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Key duties for this position include:? Cook food orders as per patron's preferences and dietary requirements
? Oversee the kitchen team providing direction on food preparation and presentation, and quality of the dishes
? Trials new formations and combinations to inspire and attract patrons to the Spanish cuisine
? Select choice ingredients to optimise flavours, aroma and nutritive value
? Regulate food quantity orders, oversee stock levels and minimise wastage
? Maintain knowledge of Spanish cooking trends and latest industry concepts to create menu variations for competitive edge
? Provide delightful dishes that ensures a best dining experience for patrons
? Receive feedback and suggestions, and resolve complaints if any
? Direct and oversee best practices and hygiene compliance in the kitchen
? Educate and mentor junior cooking staff and kitchen staff
