About this Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in our Brisbane office for a newly created role for a 2IC to our Credit Manager. Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, you will be assisting and providing support in all areas of the Customer Credit, Claims and Major Accounts Teams. With team engagement and culture a priority, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting and implementing innovative and contemporary techniques and procedures to control credit & collection, including risk mitigation procedures.
- Ongoing coaching and support to ensure the productivity, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of a team in a high transactional volume processing environment.
- Actively developing relationships and working collaboratively with sales teams and other departments to escalate and resolve collections issues in a timely manner.
- Reviewing and reporting on results against set and agreed KPIs with the Manager on a regular basis, discussing and recording clearly targets to actual performance
- Work directly with the team to provide support and assistance in removing barriers
- First point of call for escalations
Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 10+ years of credit experience, with an AICM recognized qualification or certification
- Effective communication and relationship management skills which enable you to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results for the business.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience managing collections & meeting KPIs.
- Experience and confidence in a high transactional volume environment with the ability to problem solve quickly and accurately. FMCG experience would be an advantage.
- Strong aptitude for managing processes and driving towards best- in-class performance
- SAP and Excel skills.
