About the role
We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Business Development Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful applicants will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with finance brokers, accountants, aggregator partners and referrers in addition to developing direct relationships with prospective borrower clients Australia-wide.
- Researching target markets and identifying potential leads
- Growing our broker network through the addition of new brokers and partners
- Managing new broker loan enquiries and originating loan applications
- Reviewing applications and validating information for accuracy and credit quality
- Managing our existing brokers and aggregator relationships
- Attending local and interstate industry events/conferences as well as promoting CCG
- Educating our broker partners about our business and products
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Some interstate travel will be required
What you bring?
- An existing broker network as well as aggregator and industry relationships
- Experience working in a similar role with a lender
- Strong product and credit understanding
- Ability to establish, develop and manage long-term commercial relationships
- Ability to develop a strategic plan to establish new lines of business
- Experience assessing construction loans and costings, highly regarded
- Pre-credit assessment experience an advantage
