Seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Support Officer. This role offers an attractive hourly rate of $52-54/hr + Super + Access to RW Contractor Benefits, based South of Brisbane.

This opportunity allows you to utilise your skills in a high-volume recruitment environment, dealing with a diverse staffing mix including permanent and temporary employees across multiple streams.
What you'll do:
As a Human Resource Support Officer, you will play an integral role in supporting the Manager of Human Resources. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing high-volume recruitment activities, managing establishment, submitting job advertisements, updating role descriptions, contacting shortlisted candidates, scheduling interviews, and finalising recruitments. You will also assist in undertaking pre-employment checks and maintaining accurate records of all recruitment activity and process outcomes. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Assist in the processing of high-volume recruitment and selection activities including establishment management.
Submit job advertisements via QLD Government request to hire platform.
Upload expressions of interest to the intranet and update role descriptions on current templates.
Contact shortlisted candidates and schedule interviews while also scribing in shortlisting moderation and panel interviews.
Assist in undertaking pre-employment checks, Referee checks, drivers licence checks etc.
Finalise recruitment in Springboard including preparing and submitting the relevant forms to enable the payroll provider to process the appointment.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Human Resource Support Officer position brings a wealth of experience in HR administration, particularly within government settings. You have proven experience in scribing/minute taking functions with an ability to record detailed notes of discussions. Your excellent time management and organisational skills enable you to coordinate multiple recruitment processes concurrently. You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Furthermore, you understand the importance of confidentiality and integrity as you will be subject to a criminal history or probity check during the selection process.
Experience completing scribing/minute taking functions including the ability to record detailed notes of discussions.
Good time management and organisational skills to assist in the coordination of multiple recruitment processes concurrently.
Well-developed Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills.
