The Opportunity:

Visy began manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne, Australia, in 1948 and has grown to become one of the world's leading privately owned packaging, paper and recycling companies. Based at our board site in O'Connor, WA, we have an exciting full-time role for a vibrant, dynamic person to join our successful sales team. As our Account Manager reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts, as well as exploring new market opportunities. Your role will encompass various facets of account management, from ensuring timely order fulfillment to ensuring seamless operations.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

· Secure high profitability by defending existing business and ensuring customer loyalty through superior service.

· Identify and develop new markets to expand our reach and drive revenue growth.

· Manage financial aspects including money recovery, cheque collections, and maintaining favourable payment terms.

· Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring timely communication and resolution of any issues.

· Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely order fulfillment, quality standards, and adherence to negotiated lead times.

· Assist in setting and regulating stock levels to optimize inventory management.

· Monitor product appearance at delivery points and take necessary actions to maintain quality standards.

· Champion environmental sustainability by minimizing impact and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You will succeed in this role if you have:

· Proven experience in account management or sales role

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively in a dynamic environment.

· Sound understanding of financial principles and market dynamics.

· Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible workplace.

· Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
