Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for the development and maintaining relationships with designated brokers to effectively oversee the Client Placement Facility (CPF) Commercial portfolio.
Your responsibilities encompass underwriting new business opportunities and renewal business, including rural business, within their broker portfolio, through close collaboration with brokers and the CPF team. You'll strive to foster a harmonious environment conducive to profitable business growth in line with CPF's strategic vision.
This is a 12-month fixed term full-time opportunity, and you can work from any of our offices across the South Island, in New Zealand.

To be successful in this role you'll need to have experience in the following areas:
- Suitable experience in commercial insurance underwriting and pricing.
- Experience in building relationships within the insurance broker market.
- Assist the BDM's with underwriting and implementing CPF's strategy
- Goal-focused, forward-thinking, and committed to achieving CPF's objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen.
- Demonstrates high levels of initiative and sound judgement, aside from being a great communicator.
