About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our close-knit and passionate Legal Software Solutions team at LexisNexis as an Account Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring retention and growth across existing Affinity client base, as well as upselling of additional software, services and solutions. The role will be tasked with identifying value add opportunities, increasing portfolio value via new solutions and customer retention for a significant territory.
This is a 12-month maternity cover full-time role to be based in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.
This role offers variety in managing portfolios having diverse mix of large to small accounts where no 2 days are same! As a key member of our tight-knit team, you will have autonomy and agency to perform whilst having highly achievable targets on offer!
Key responsibilities include:
Relationship management with all customers in the territory, virtually and in person.
Achieve targets on time and within budget by retaining and growing existing client accounts.
Manage opportunities proactively in line with renewal dates and inbound leads.
Raise awareness of additional products and services which would be of benefit to the client.
Conduct solution demonstrations to engage clients’ interest in upgrades and additional services.
Help improve NPS by improving the way customers use Affinity (product).

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Degree qualified with preferred background within the legal solutions market with strong upselling and client relationship skills.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Sales within a prominent organisation where structure sales and consultative selling approaches are used.
Demonstrated performance against sales objectives.
Ability to communicate/negotiate with staff at all levels within a law firm (essential) or Corp/Govt environment.
Solution Selling experience is essential
Ability to write complex correspondence, proposals and tender documents to describe business requirements and propose solutions
