You'll be responsible for:
- Develop and implement new business plans while identifying industry trends and implementing appropriate strategies to strengthen the organisation's position.
- Assess potential partners, performing competitive research, evaluate proposed deals / partnerships and analyse and develop business cases for new targets.
- Work with revenue generating roles to identify strategic selling behaviours and regularly review sales action plans.
- Effectively use and update renewal retention systems, reporting facilities and salesforce planning systems.
- Remain up to date with relevant technical, environmental, and business knowledge to provide appropriate advice to team members and customers.
- Has 3+ years of experience in account management or claims from an insurer, brokerage, or client background.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships and generate extensive network of corporate and client partnerships.
- Proficient product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
- Demonstrated ability to read the market and understand customer requirements to identify, pursue, and close Business Development opportunities that contribute to the profitability of the organisation.
- Demonstrates commercial acumen by using insights related to the market, opportunities, risks, and competitors within the insurance industry as well as the dynamic levers that influence these factors.
- Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes.
