Do you love all things timber and have a passion for sustainability? We are a timber wholesaler based out of Melbourne, with 23 years experience across the Timber merchant and Frame & Truss market. The backbone of McCormacks is built on relationships; both with suppliers and customers. Our customers include Bunnings, Mitre 10, and Dahlsens, to name a few. We have a long history in the Hardwood industry, and pride ourselves on our longevity.

We have a role for a full-time Sales Account Manager in NSW. This role is a mix of current customer management (3 days per week) and business development (2 days per week) and is an opportunity for the right candidate to shine.
This already successful territory is in growth but there is plenty of potential for the new Account Manager to double and triple sales as we diversify our product range in the coming years.
To be considered for this role you will have 3-5 years experience in a sales role, preferably some experience with Builders and Architects, and have a passion for getting technical.
Head office is based in Melbourne so there will be some need to travel interstate (2-3 times per year). Travel in your own territory will be determined by your customer requirements. Presentations to Architects and site visits to Builders will be key to business development in this territory, with leads being managed back through our vast network of merchants and Frame & Truss.
We're looking for someone that loves being out amongst their customer base, face to face calls in this industry are key.
This role is integral to the success of the business and we are dedicated to finding the right person to take on this territory.
Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office, Email, and erp's is essential. We will provide the successful applicant with a Phone, Lap top, and Tool of Trade Ute, so there are no barriers to success.
