We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team National team, and based in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our clients as well as identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow our client base.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Understand clients' needs and objectives, and develop strategies to meet their goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals.
- Recommend the right mix of IT services and tools to address specific challenges.
- Manage client accounts, including contract and commercial negotiations. Be skilled in helping clients plan and manage their IT spending effectively
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Regularly measuring client sentiment ensures they’re content and feeling value with the service.
- Provide regular reports and updates to clients on project status and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
Demonstrated Qualities:
- Be Efficient and Effective! Account managers ensure clients receive the agreed-upon IT services promptly and efficiently. They oversee service delivery in partnership with our Service Delivery Managers to ensure seamless execution.
- Possess a strong and broad understanding of Secure Modern Workplaces. Having a foundation understanding of these principles and ability to work with pre-sales resources to deliver quality and value based proposals.
- Security is paramount. Our Account Managers grasp security protocols, risk management, and compliance requirements for various sectors and industries.
- Our Account managers showcase the tangible benefits clients reap from their MSP partnership and look to always enhance the relationship.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for service refinement and enhancing the overall client experience in conjunction with your Service Delivery team.
- Demonstrated strong sales methodology. Proficient in running an end to end sales cycle; from self-sourcing new prospects through to negotiating the close.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good commercial acumen. You know your numbers!
- Self-starter with a focused, activity driven attitude to win.
Qualifications and Key Experience:
- 7+ years demonstrated success in acquiring and growing managed infrastructure services customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft (and ideally) Cisco solutions.
- Have a strong understanding of the Modern Workplace offerings, what a secure network looks like and the ability to guide customers on the journey.
- Experience consulting to customers in small to medium size corporates, particularly providing managed network or managed cloud and end user services.
- We have presence in the Mining, Legal, Health and Manufacturing markets - so ideally you have experience in these.
