About the Role
Peace is seeking a motivated, dedicated and dynamic accounting professional to join our Administration team in the role of Accountant. The role requires technical knowledge relating to accounting and accounts receivable functions. You must establish and maintain a broad range of relationships, be flexible to work on several duties with possible conflicting timelines and be hands-on when required. The person will require superior communications skills, demonstrate sensitivity and act professionally.
The Position
Working closely with the Business Manager, you will be required to undertake duties involving but not limited to;
- Monthly financial reporting.
- Account reconciliations.
- Review and analyse variances of the profit and loss and balance sheet accounts against the organisational budget.
- Accurate invoicing of domestic and international tuition fees.
- Accounts Receivable functions, including debtor management.
- Liaising with external stakeholders.
About You
- Degree qualified in an accounting discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working within an accounting role (3+ years).
- Current working with children Blue card or be able to obtain.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
- Sound working knowledge of management accounting practices and analysis of business financial and performance results.
- Superior communications skills, demonstrating discernment, sensitivity and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational, analytical, initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management with flexibility and adaptability to maintain work output during times of high pressure and tight deadlines.
