Payroll Assistant

About the RoleReporting to the Payroll Supervisor, this is a great support role that will suit someone who enjoys the processing aspect of payroll, or has transferable invoice processing skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a genuine desire to begin their career in payroll. Join this fun and friendly group and interact with a wide range of people who enjoy coming to work each day. This role will be based in Morningside, with one day a week based in their Milton head office location.Duties & Responsibilities

• Collate and enter daily timesheet and payroll data for multiple entities
• Update of relevant information for existing employees and new starters, as well as those exiting the business
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks as directed
• Assist with the preparation of payroll information ready for weekly and monthly pay runs
• Monitor and manage the payroll email inbox, responding to routine enquiries
• Liaise professionally with stakeholders across the business as well as other entities within the broader business group
• Other ad hoc administration or payroll tasks as directed

Skills & Experience required

• You will be a highly capable administrator, ideally with some exposure to finance, invoice processing, or payroll administration tasks within a high volume business environment
• Your attention to detail is one of your key strengths and you are renowned for being meticulous in your work
• You have a high level of professionalism, you are discreet and respect the importance of confidentiality in your role
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable - you know how to prioritise your tasks and responsibilities - you can't miss a payroll deadline!
• You are approachable, have great interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team
