The Work:
- Provide the Principal with reliable information necessary to control and manage operations. This includes preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
- Maintenance of accounts information (general ledgers, accounts payable and accounts receivable and related data entry).
- Financial oversight in collaboration with the Principal and Accountant. This includes bookkeeping duties and Accounts Receivable and Payable. This will include the ongoing monitoring of office expenditure in line with company’s budget.
- Prepares Banking and reconciliation.
- Assist with preparation of ATO requirements & liaison with accountant.
- Management of superannuation contributions.
- Management of Trust to Company Transfers.
- Ensure that the accounting processes conform to all applicable legislation.
- Performing payroll duties.
- Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch.
- Immediate start
- Work under the guidance and report to the Accounts Manager.
The Requirements:
- Must have minimum 3+ years experience in a similar position.
- Ideally worked on trust accounts in a legal environment.
- Degree qualifications in Accounting.
- Intermediate experience in using Microsoft Excel.
