Cranbrook Care is looking for motivated Accountant to join the team at our Head Office in North Sydney.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will be required to support the needs of Cranbrook Care and its residences, and will be responsible for:
- Preparing and providing support with executive reporting requirements
- Reconciling business activity statements
- Conducting financial investigations
- Examine operating costs through the review and management of AP/AR processes and supporting with payroll processes
- Be a role model for Cranbrook Care culture and operation in accordance with Cranbrook Care cultural values and norms
This is a hands-on role that demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand. You will build strong relationships with senior management across the organisation to enable you to perform your day-to-day role.
ABOUT YOU
You will be a team player and able to work autonomously to provide excellence across our organisation. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:
- 1 year experience in the same or similar role
- Formal qualification Masters of Professional Accounting
- Existing proprietary knowledge
- Experience in Aged Care
- CPA registration or at a minimum, working toward CPA registration
- Proficient in AP/AR functions
- Solid understanding of the principles of ledger reconciliation
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent computer skills in Word and Outlook
- Previous payroll experience an advantage however not essential
- Previous experience using Epayroll, Humanforce and Emplive would be an advantage
- Takes full responsibility for own actions and deliverables
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and priorities multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skill and an appreciation of the end user requirements
- Demonstrates a high level of motivation and initiative
- Must be well presented and have attention to detail
- You will have an empathetic nature and a desire to enhance the quality of life for our residents and their families.
This is a varied and challenging role that offers autonomy, growth and a positive working environment, together with the chance to play an integral role during an exciting period of growth and development for Cranbrook Care. Offering a base salary of $70,000 - $75,000
