Accountant

Job Description

• Processing and create Purchase Order when goods received from suppliers, liaising with warehouse making sure the correct quantity and amount.
• Processing packing list per store location on a daily basis.
• Recording payable invoices up to Xero, monitoring each invoice when it falls due and arrange payments, accordingly, supervising daily operations within the scope of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including maintenance of the general ledger and reconciliation of accounts.
• Checking Aged Accounts Payables and aged receivables between Group entities.
• For international purchases, monitoring and checking the correct exchange rate is applied when bank reconciliation.
• Collaborate with accounts and finance managers to ensure smooth running of an organization’s accounts department.
• Prepare tax returns, work independently on bookkeeping and account reconciliations, and handle staff expense reimbursement,
• Liasing with external accountants preparing for income tax return for the group.
• Supporting senior accountants and the finance team generally.
• Monitoring the renewal date for public insurance, ASIC renewal, work cover, vehicle insurance and vehicle registration for the group entities.
• Helping with ad hoc whenever requested by the manager.

• At least 2 years accountant experiences, experienced in international logistic/ Retail/ E-Commerce industry is a plus
• Advanced understanding of Xero, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organisational skills, time management skills 
• Excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills
• Chinese speaking is a plus but not essential 
• Self-motivation, punctuality and reliability
