We are a successful IGA Supermarket, located in Mirboo North. We are now recruiting a full-time Accountant to join our growing team.
About the role
Duties/Responsibilities: Accountant
- Preparing examining and analysing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends, for internal decision making purposes.
- Computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns.
- Analysing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations.
- Maintaining accounting controls and providing advice.
Benefits and perks
Great salary package ($70,000 to $100,000) plus superannuation will be awarded to the right candidate.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
For Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
